Found the perfect house?
Sherlock Home Inspectors has assisted thousands of home buyers in making their buying decision with confidence. The best way to minimize your risk is to have an organized and objective evaluation to avoid any unpleasant surprises due to structural problems or major repairs.
A professional inspection is an examination of the true current condition of the house. It is not an appraisal or a municipal code inspection. A home inspector will not pass or fail a house; he will simply describe, in detail, its condition. If the inspector finds deficiencies with a home, it doesn’t necessarily mean you should not buy it, only that you will know in advance what type of repairs to anticipate.
Top To Bottom
Our inspectors will examine all the major structural and mechanical systems and perform a complete room to room analysis. This visual inspection includes basically everything from the basement to the roof, inside and out. We interpret all findings and provide you with the best available support in making an intelligent buying decision. We will tell you what repairs are needed immediately and which ones may be postponed. We also provide a complete overview of the entire property. A step-by-step, room-by-room inspection culminating in a comprehensive and easy to read report will be prepared for you. Copies will also be sent to your attorney and realtor.
Sherlock Home Inspectors has been serving home buyers throughout New Jersey since 1976. Our inspectors, experienced and fully qualified, continually participate in ongoing education and training. All of our inspections are conducted in strict accordance with the professional and ethical guidelines set by industry standards.

Sewage Disposal Inspection/Certification
This evaluation will assist you in determining whether the septic design is adequate for the demand on the system in relation to the size of the structure and anticipated use. Open septic tank testing available upon request.
What If You’re Buying A Condominium?
